Survey responses

Between 28 November 2022 and 5 January 2023 the public were invited to let us know what they thought about the future of development in the City of Bradford. In total 209 people participated in the survey.

Respondents were asked, in a couple of words, what they felt the city’s best kept secret was. The city’s architecture, access to the countryside, heritage and people were identified the most.

Respondents were also asked what they felt the city’s biggest challenge was. Addressing the city’s reputation and anti-social behaviour were identified the most.

Finally, respondents were asked what they felt to be the single biggest opportunity for the city would be in the next 10 years. UK City of Culture 2025, our young people, improving connectivity, maximising the benefits of Bradford Live and regenerating the city centre were identified the most.
