Sustainable Future

I'd like to see a revolution in the provision of cycle ways across the area. To achieve this I believe legislation will be necessary to permit Bradford to construct these sympathetically & economically. If constructed properly & in flatter areas, these could be constructed without a bitumen macadam surface to minimise cost & be even more environmentally friendly.

I'd also like to see an integrated public transport system with improved services (frequency, durations & times available) across the area (& beyond).

I'd like to see an improvement in housing stock & more use of brownfield areas for new developments.

I'd like to see improved housing stock build quality with a more pro active role by Bradford in building regulations compliance & better energy performance (net zero??).
